The Problem

This started on paternity leave. Mid-week visits to all the viral spots we'd saved but never had time to check out. The food was great — but as a new family, you see everything through a different lens.

Changing rooms used as storage. Cramped corners that don't fit a pram. A changing table directly opposite the men's urinal. High chairs that wobble. Steps at the entrance with no ramp.

Instagram ratings and family-friendliness are two completely different things.

That's why we built ChangeCheck

A free app that tells you whether a place actually works for a family — clean changing table, a highchair that isn't a wrestling match, step-free access for the pram — before you leave the house.

Trust badges on every venue

Every pin on the map carries a trust badge: Fresh if a parent's checked it in the last 45 days, Stale if it's been a while, or a grey "?" for venues no one's been to yet. Photo evidence and community confirmations back it up. QR-verified check-ins at partner venues are coming soon.

Partners who back our mission can pay for clearly-labelled Featured placement, but it never changes an honest venue's score or what parents actually reported.
